CSCP stands for Certified Supply Chain Professional. This is a professional designation offered by APICS, The Association for Operations Management, to help supply chain professionals in the manufacturing industry to show expertise and on-going curiosity and learning in their field. Professionals interested in pursuing this certificate do so by undergoing a proctored examination that covers the following three modules:
- APICS Supply Chain Management Fundamentals
- Supply Chain Strategy, Design, and Compliance
- Implementation and Operations
Eligible candidates for the test will have fulfilled one of the following requirements prior to testing:
- Hold an APICS CPIM, CFPIM, or CIRM designation, or
- Hold a CPM, CSM, or CPSM designation plus two years of related business experience, or
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus two years of related business experience, or
- Have five years of related business experience
