Just how much does APICS certification cost?
The basic costs of each of the three APICS certifications are broken down below.
APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
Members: $825 ($165 per exam)
Nonmembers: $1250 ($250 per exam)
APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
Members: $630
Nonmembers: $830
Note: Test can be retaken for $450.
APICS Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management (CFPIM)
Application Fee: $75 (150 non-member)
Note: In order to be eligible for this designation, you will need to first obtain a CPIM designation.
Payments for these designations can be made online, or over the phone for an additional $10 fee.
Study materials, classes, and other professional tools used to complete these manufacturing and supply management designations will generally have additional costs associated with them.
APICS, The Association for Operations Management, provides classes, seminars, and events that may count toward certification points or help you study for your exams. The topics of these classes range from foundational to theoretical, and can be useful for beginners and advanced manufacturing professionals.
